| Comprehensive Curriculum We want to thank you for considering A Special Day Pre-K. You can be confident that our program will give your child a solid foundation on which to begin kindergarten. The essentials are taught such as: the upper & lower case alphabet, phonics, numbers, shapes & colors. With help from V-tech, we introduce the computer. Our goal is to encourage the children to become more familiar and comfortable as they gain a basic understanding of it's many uses. We also concentrate on History, Science, & Social Studies. Each month a new topic is chosen as our "spotlight." Various projects and activities are created as we encourage the children to explore. |
| What We Believe Everyday, we strive to make your child feel special. A strong emphasis is placed on self esteem and helping your child feel confident. We believe that a positive and uplifting environment is the key in helping your child grow to become self reliant and independent. We sing songs that teach the importance of sharing and taking turns. The golden rule is still golden here. Our motto is "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Your child will have a well rounded educational experience here at A Special Day Pre-K, & many opportunities for emotional growth. |
| Enrollment Requirements Our Parent-teacher-child interview is a prerequisite before enrollment to determine the readiness skills of your child. We use this time as an opportunity to get to know your child & discuss the guidelines of the school. Please call (281) 383-3567 to schedule an appointment. |
