Everyday the
children practice
memorizing their

We also encourage
the children to
become familiar and
comfortable with
using the
computer.

Curriculum
Who We Are
The beautiful weather we've been having has allowed us to paint outdoors.
Remember children need consistency! As University of Utah professor Sam Goldtein reminds us,
Our Police officer
friend, Larry Aldridge, of
the Baytown Police
Department, comes every
year to share with the
children about stranger
danger.
We want to say
Thank You to all of the
Police Officers that protect
us each day.

We appreciate all
you do!
Birthday's at
A Special Day Pre-K.
Are
Awesome!

Each child will have a
giant size birthday cake
balloon blown up in
their honor.

The birthday boy or
girl wears a crown,
decorates their very
own cupcake, &
receives a  small gift
bag.

What We
Believe
Practice Makes
Perfect
We are proud to  announce that
author  Fran Sutton,
will be visiting our school on
October 27th. At 10:30.
She will be sharing a message
with us about Stranger Danger.
Parents are welcome to
participate.
DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS
VERY IMPORTANT EVENT.
Fire Safety Week!!!
The Fire Truck comes to visit the school
every year.  We have a fire drill and talk
about fire safety. The children  enjoy
watching Elmo's
Fire House; an excellent video about
Elmo's visit to a real fire station.
We take this opportunity to educate the
children on the importance once of
calling 911 in case of an emergency using
a pretend telephone.
This is an exciting day for our children,
and very informative.
Something to think about.
Did you know that
"Organization
experts point out that
kindergarten classrooms are
among the most orderly and
user-friendly spaces on
earth. There is a place for
everything and everything is
in it's place.
But the real reason that
kindergartens are orderly is
because the room is divided
into centers," each with a
single, specific function. If
possible, set up your child's
bedroom in a similar
fashion."
Coming up in February: Dental Assistant-Mrs. Laura,
from Trippie & Traylor's dentist office
will come to visit the children  on Feb. 8th. to teach
the importance of having healthy teeth, and
demonstrate how cavities can attack the mouth with
the wrong food choices.

Also, coming up in February-valentines Party on 2-14
Hot dog lunch provided.
